Air France-KLM and WestJet join forces to earn Flying Blue miles
Since August 29, 2017, Air France-KLM and WestJet have been offering reciprocal advantages to members of their loyalty programs by enabling them to earn Flying Blue Miles or WestJet dollars on all Air France, KLM and WestJet flights. This new customer advantage is part of the code-share partnership between Air France-KLM and WestJet.
“We are delighted to be strengthening our collaboration with WestJet by offering our 27 million Flying Blue members the opportunity to earn miles on our Canadian partner's network” said Jean-Noël Rault, VP and General Manager for Air France-KLM in Canada, adding “We are already working on the next step which will enable our members to earn awards on the WestJet network and will provide WestJet customers with an opportunity to discover the services and flight offering of our global network.”
"We are confident that our members will be delighted to be able to earn WestJet dollars, while benefiting from Air France-KLM's extensive global network. We are also pleased to welcome the customers from these two airlines and offer them the opportunity to earn Flying Blue Miles on the rapidly expanding WestJet network," said Ed Sims, WestJet's Executive Vice President, Commercial Operations.
