On July 7, Air France welcomed its 43rd A320 into its fleet. This aircraft joins the company’s Airbus A320 family (A318, A319, A320 & A321), bringing the total number of these aircraft to 119.
On July 23, the aircraft with the SkyTeam livery, registration F-HEPI, equipped with the new Smart & Beyond cabin (174 seats), made its first commercial flight (AF1620) from Paris-CDG to Tel Aviv. Equipped with a maximum take-off weight of 77T and equipped with Sharklets, this aircraft is mainly dedicated to the longest flights on the medium-haul network.
After its delivery at Airbus in Toulouse on July 7, the aircraft was ferried to Paris-Orly on July 8, to install the EFB (Electronic Flight Bag) and the Hi-Power USB sockets on all passenger seats.
