On July 5, Jean Imbert took part in the "Oh my chef!" event and boarded flight AF344 from Paris to Montreal (Canada).
A gourmet moment on board, "Oh my chef!" regularly invites a chef on board an Air France flight to discover his or her menu, meet the passengers and ask them what they think.
Jean Imbert went to meet passengers travelling in Premium Economy and Economy who were enjoying his a la carte menu "Le Marché de Jean Imbert." One of the passengers also discovered a lucky winning ticket slipped onto his meal tray, offering him a meal at L'Acajou, the chef's restaurant in Paris.
"Le marché de Jean Imbert " is a delicious full menu designed by Jean Imbert, available for 21 euros or 7,000 miles as an alternative to the standard menu offered on board. Customers in Premium Economy and Economy can enjoy the menu created by the chef, winner of Top Chef in 2012, on departure from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly on Air France’s long-haul network.
The "Le marché de Jean Imbert" menu offers:
Mozzarella di Bufala, organic quinoa, pears
Beef confit in teriyaki sauce, yellow carrots, broccoli
