112 is the European emergency number, available 24/7 in all 28 Member States of the European Union, as well as other countries in Europe and elsewhere, such as Norway or Turkey. Air France would like to remind its customers who may need to use this service when abroad that they can call 112 free of charge to reach the police, the emergency medical services and the fire brigade.

112, le numéro à ne pas oublier quand on voyage

A common European emergency number allows European citizens and visitors to have only one emergency number wherever they are travelling in Europe, avoiding having to remember different emergency numbers depending on one’s location. This constitutes a great advantage, especially when more and more Europeans travel within the EU.
