Air France in the Top 20 of the CDLI
In 2009 Air France entered the CDLI (Carbon Disclosure Leadership Index) 2009 which honours the 20 best French firms of the SBF120 for transparency in communication on climate change. Air France ranks first among transport companies and 14th in the CDLI. Air France-KLM is the leading airline in Europe.

The CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) is an inquiry conducted on behalf of 475 institutional investors which manage over 55,000 billion dollars. This inquiry consults major businesses on the integration of climate change in their strategy, on their approach to carbon constraint and their performance in greenhouse gas emissions.
The CDP covers several indexes, depending on the scope of the inquiry:
- SBF 120 (120 biggest French firms)
- Europe 300 (300 biggest firms in Western Europe)
- Global 500 (500 biggest international firms)
