The accusation of discrimination, other than it goes against the most fundamental values of Air France, an international company with 60% foreign customers and in this respect open to the world and the diversity of cultures, is totally unfounded.

The rules relating to the way agents style their hair, in the same way as the rules governing the Company uniform, apply uniformly to all cabin crew staff, and no distinction is made in consideration of the person's origin.

For this reason, the ban on wearing braids and long hair in general applies to all stewards, whether they are of African, European, Asian or another origin.

The regulation does not authorize men to wear braids or long hair and applies to all staff in contact with customers.
