With 600 daily flights, Air France has implemented a dense network in Metropolitan France, structured around non-stop routes between the major regional cities and a regional hub at Lyon-Saint Exupéry.
In Metropolitan France, Air France operates 170 routes, 96 of which are inter-regional routes which do not pass through Paris. 74 routes serve the main French cities, to and from Paris-CDG or Paris-Orly, linking all the French regions to the rest of the world. The main regional cities are also linked directly to Amsterdam-Schiphol.
In October 2011, Air France launched a commercial offensive on departure from Marseille, offering new non-stop routes in France, Europe and the Mediterranean. Air France intends to extend this service in spring 2012 on departure from Nice, Toulouse and Bordeaux.
