► 11 members

The eleven members of the new Executive Committee have responsibilities at Group level along with those they have in their home company.

  • Leo van Wijk Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the AIR FRANCE KLM Group, in charge of IT strategy and development of alliances
  • Pierre-Henri Gourgeon, Permanent representative of the Air France-KLM Group,
  • Peter Hartman, Chairman of the KLM  Management Board

► The fields that come under management at Group level are as follows:

  • finance,
  • marketing, network and revenue management,
  • international sales including  Benelux countries (these functions are not combined but as the volume of business generated is such as to be represented on the Executive Committee).
  • cargo (strategy and sales),
  • industry and maintenance (strategy and sales),
  • purchasing and fleet,

The Executive Committee will meet every two weeks, either in Amsterdam or Paris, to take whatever decisions are required for the smooth operation of the Group in line with the strategy approved by the Board of Directors.

The SMC comprised eight members, appointed by the AIR FRANCE KLM Appointments Committee, after consultation and on the recommendation of the Chairman of the Air France Board of Directors for the members representing Air France and on the recommendation of the members of the KLM Board of Directors for the members representing KLM.
