Since May 2006, Air France has gradually replaced the Boeing 747s which up to now had been operating on routes to Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre, Saint-Denis de la Réunion and Cayenne, by B777-300ERs. As proof of its commitment to the region, Air France has invested over one million euros in these latest-generation aircraft, which are more cost-efficient and offer greater comfort in all cabins.
Air France also operates a regional network in the French Caribbean. It includes destinations such as Cayenne, Fort-de-France, Pointe-à-Pitre, Port-au-Prince, Miami and, since Autumn 2007, Santo Domingo, Saint Martin and Paramaribo. Two Airbus A320s dedicated to this network are based in the area.
On Indian Ocean routes, Air France has reinforced its presence thanks to a joint venture agreement signed with partners such as Mauritius and Air Seychelles.
2008-09 Winter Schedule
