On-time performance is an important and objective factor in the appraisal of service quality.

Air France ranks among the top European airlines in terms of on-time performance. For the 2006-2007 period, the excellent results posted by Air France short- and medium-haul flights put the airline in third position out of eight similar European airlines with 80% of flights on time*.

Figures for international medium-haul flights remain slightly better than the AEA average.

Over the same period for 2006-2007, results for short-haul (domestic) flights have remained stable with 84.7% for flight departures and 83.8% for arrivals.

*On-time performance corresponds to the percentage of short-, medium- or long-haul, domestic or international flights arriving or leaving on time or within 15 minutes of scheduled flight times for the total number of stations in the network.
