On short and medium-haul flights, where Air France competes against low-cost carriers with no frills service and where the number of seats corresponds to the maximum permitted, Air France still offers free drinks and refreshments (snacks, hot and cold meals, newspapers) and enough space for each passenger. 

Free top quality service, whatever the destination and travel class

On all long-haul flights, l’Espace Affaires is phasing in the latest-generation cabin interiors, offering comfort that is superior to that of the former First Class, with seats that recline to 180° (almost horizontal).

Saphir

  • Over the  2007-2008 IATA year, nearly 330,000 disabled or reduced mobility passengers  flew on the Air France network,
  • Nearly 6,600  Saphir cards have been distributed to date,
  • Saphir  services include dedicated call centres manned by specialist booking agents in 19 countries worldwide, including 16 in Europe.

In addition, whatever the destination or travel class, many services are offered free of charge, such as «Planète Bleue»,  which takes care of children travelling alone, or «Saphir», dedicated to passengers with special needs.
