Launched in 2001 by the FTSE (Financial Times Stock Exchange), the FTSE4Good comprises a family of indexes grouping companies deemed to be socially responsible with respect to globally acknowledged standards.

These indexes, built using ratings drawn up by the UK extra-financial rating agency EIRIS (Ethical Investment Research Service), were designed to identify and measure the performance of companies working to protect the environment on a sustained basis, develop constructive relationships with all stakeholders, and promote and respect human rights.

Air France-KLM was included in the index from the outset.
