Subsidiaries

CityJet, a wholly-owned Air France subsidiary since 2000, is a regional carrier specialized in serving airports with short runways.

With its fleet of 22 AVRO RJ85 and 6 BAe146 aircraft as of 31 March 2008, CityJet links Orly (and Paris-Charles de Gaulle for some destinations) with Dublin, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Gothenburg and Zurich.  It also operates a leased flight service between Dublin and London City.

With a workforce of 740 employees, CityJet carries some 2 million passengers each year.

In 2007-2008, it generated turnover of 285 million euros.

In 2007, it joined Air France in creating CityJet for Air France, which operates five routes out of London City Airport, to Belfast, Geneva, Madrid, Nice and Zurich.  The very human scale of this airport in the heart of London makes for smooth, rapid passenger handling.  The check-in deadline is unusually close to flight time (only 10 minutes before departure) and above all, the terminal is equipped for all Air France e-services.
