Since the screening of the first film on board Air France flights in 1966, cinema has gradually become an integral part of the Company’s genetic make-up and currently constitutes a key element in our customers’ satisfaction on board.
For over 30 years, the Company’s historic partnership with the Cannes Film Festival conveys its long-term commitment to cinema and the promotion of cinematographic works.
Air France is official partner of the French Golf Federation and recently joined the France 2018 Partners’ Club, supporting France’s hosting of the Ryder Cup, the most prestigious international team play golf event in the world.
Moreover, Air France organizes the « Air France Golf World Tour » every year, an amateur golf tournament reserved for our loyal customers. 21 stages take place from February to September in cities all around the world, including Beijing, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
The Flying Blue Golf community, launched in 2010 and bringing together over 100,000 members, completes these actions.
In its efforts to engage with its customers’ “interests”, Air France decided to become a partner of major running events such as the Nice Cannes, Rome, Lausanne, Milan and Paris marathons, some of which attract as many as 50,000 runners.
In 2011, we also launched the Flying Blue Running community platform, dedicated to travel and running, which currently boasts 25,000 members.
