State-of-the-art equipment on board our aircraft

Increasingly efficient technologies on board our aircraft enable passengers in all classes to enjoy more comprehensive inflight entertainment and greater comfort, both key factors in terms of customer expectations.

So, thanks to a complex inflight video system (able to respond simultaneously to the specific requests of 300 passengers while complying with strict safety standards!) Air France offers a video on demand programme with up to 80 different films shown on individual screens on long-haul flights.

Passengers can not only choose their  films but also schedule the time they wish to watch, stopping and starting whenever they want.  In other words, it's just like being at home.

In addition, Air France is one of the first airlines to provide the "Arkamys" system which, with its surround sound system, gives passengers the feeling of being at the heart of a musical atmosphere.

In terms of comfort, Air France is continually improving cabin equipment through use of state-of-the-art technology.

As a result, the new cabin interiors phased in as from 2004 have been gradually upgraded.

For example, the Boeing 777-300s operated on the  Caribbean/Indian Ocean network benefit from the latest version of these cabin interiors.
