Pride March: supporting Personn’Ailes to promote diversity
Like last year, Air France is supporting the association Personn’Ailes, the company’s LGBT and Gay Friendly staff, at the Paris LGBT Pride March on Saturday 30 June. Air France is financially supporting the event and is drawing on the skills and expertise of its teams to produce a dedicated visual support depicting an embracing couple and the Air France logo. The Air France Facebook and Twitter accounts’ avatar will also be sporting the colours of the rainbow.
“Knocking down discrimination, in our lives and in the workplace”
Alongside this event, during Pride Fortnight*, Air France is organizing a photo exhibition on its premises entitled “Knocking down discrimination, in our lives and in the workplace” echoing the sports theme retained for this year’s LGBT Pride March. The exhibition features staff who have posed for amateur photographers of the company’s photo association, Photogr’AF. This is the first time that an exhibition is giving visibility to LGBT staff through ten artistic photo portraits of staff from all company sectors and staff categories.
Respecting all forms of difference
Air France, a socially responsible company, proudly asserts its commitment to ensuring that only one’s professional skills matter in the workplace – fighting all forms of discrimination is vital to achieving greater equality, respect and tolerance.
Therefore, in addition to showing its support and solidarity for the LGBT Pride March, Air France will also be Official Partner of the Paris 2018 Gay Games taking place from 4 to 12 August.
* Pride Fortnight is an annual militant and festive event offering LGBT visibility and ending with the Paris LGBT Pride March.
