TAKING ACTION FOR A BETTER WORLD FOR TODAY’S YOUTH

As President of the Air France Foundation, I am pleased to welcome you to our site! Thank you for your interest in our work.

With over 30 years of international experience and as a pioneer in the field of corporate foundations, the Air France Foundation has, since 1992, supported more than 1,600 projects in 80 countries where Air France is present.

The teams are constantly striving to balance the actions we support in France, Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean and the Indian Ocean.

Over the years, the organization has focused its efforts on children and young people in difficulty, the sick, the disabled and educational cause, working hand in hand with associations and NGOs with which we have forged solid and lasting relationships.

Over the years, the organization has focused its efforts on children and young people in difficulty, the sick, the disabled and educational cause, working hand in hand with associations and NGOs with which we have forged solid and lasting relationships.

Today, I, the Board of Directors and the Foundation’s Managing Director, Estelle Brice-Santos,

are supported by a dynamic network of 5,000 Air France employees on whom we rely to regularly and actively carry out our projects and actions.

The Foundation is working on three major commitments: education and integration of children and young people, deepening environmental awareness, and humanitarian support. I invite you to browse our website to discover more about our activities.

By working together, we can open and illuminate new opportunities for children and young people in need.

DAILY ACTIONS IN SERVICE OF CHILDREN, YOUTH, AND PLANET

In a complex and ever-changing world, the Air France Foundation has been supporting its partner associations and non-governmental organizations for 32 years, working to provide access to education, inclusion, healthcare, and professional integration for the most vulnerable children and young people. Drawing on its Humanitarian Sponsorship network and Air France’s expertise as a carrier, it contributes to relief efforts for victims of natural disasters or conflicts.

In March 2024, the Foundation was able to organize its traditional “Grand Prize,” which had been suspended since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This event brought together its board members, its network of friends, partner associations, and NGOs. Established in 2009, the Foundation's Grand Prize honors the associations and their teams working with children and young people who are sick, living in extreme poverty, or with disabilities in over 80 countries. This friendly gathering also aims to recognize the commitment of Air France’s employee and retiree volunteers, who dedicate their time, talent, and energy to offer future generations a better life.

In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, the Foundation rewarded the actions of associations, company employees, and clients of the airline. This commitment allows it to continue fighting against inequality by enabling thousands of children to access education, which remains one of its main goals. Similarly, addressing environmental challenges and improving access to new technologies are key areas where the Foundation supports initiatives that contribute to building a society that respects both people and the planet.

Beyond the financial aid provided in France, Europe, and many other countries around the world, we are proud to rely on the incredible and growing solidarity among Air France employees. At each of our events, many men and women from all areas of the company respond to our calls for support.

Strengthened by the commitment of everyone involved, by volunteer efforts, and by the expertise of its members, the Air France Foundation will continue to mobilize to offer younger generations the paths leading to a world of sustainable progress.

Collectively, we are dedicated to demonstrating our responsibility, commitment, and motivation.

Enjoy your reading!
