Air France acts to promote diversity at all levels and in all sectors of the company. Strong actions are carried out: detection of female potential, coaching and mentoring, in order to favour women's access to positions of high responsibility.
To ensure equality at all stages of women's professional lives, indicators to monitor the place of women in the company at the highest level (COMEX) and in all Human Resources processes (recruitment, mobility, promotion, etc.) are implemented.
The company also promotes the recruitment of women in technical sectors, in particular through its partnership with the association "Elles bougent" (Girls on the move) which favours the orientation of young girls towards technical and engineering professions. Officially launched for International Womens' Day on 8 March 2018, this partnership offers a network of women mentors, mainly from the Industrial Maintenance and IT Systems divisions at Air France, to promote their line of work and share their experiences, but especially to encourage young girls to enter these professions.
Finally, as part of the work / life balance, the development of teleworking is part of our ATGPEM agreement (2015-2018). Access to part time work and parental leave is also facilitated by the company. Specific training to accompany parents after maternity or parental leave is also offered upon return to the company.
