Testimony

Aviation Sans Frontières volunteers

"Parent-child separation is often a delicate process, and even with the experience we've acquired over the years, it's a complex moment to manage, and one that can be difficult to live with. Aviation Sans Frontières volunteers have to be able to adapt to any situation, and take into account multiple socio-cultural factors, including language barriers. What's more, some children don't know how to use cutlery to eat, or have never walked in shoes before the day of departure. We have to make sure that the journey, which represents an important transition between their life before and their life after, goes as smoothly as possible."
