Phase 2 of the CAP Jeunesse project: socio-professional integration for vulnerable young people in refugee camps in the north and south of Lebanon.

For 40 years, Asmae has been working in 8 countries to enable children to play an active role in their own future by giving them access to a basic education in a safer environment. Already financed by the Foundation in 2021 and 2022, phase 2 of the ‘Cap Jeunesse’ programme, which began in January 2024, aims to improve access to education and training and provide appropriate social support for young Palestinian refugees and disadvantaged Lebanese youngsters living in camps and their surrounding areas. In practical terms, these young people take part in vocational training, entrepreneurship and behavioural development training sessions to promote their socio-professional integration. The Air France Foundation's support is earmarked for guidance activities, vocational training, integration into the job market, soft skills activities and raising young people's awareness of climate issues. At the end of the previous phase of the project, 59% of the young graduates found a job.
