Extracurricular support for pupils in the township of Soweto in Johannesburg
The FXB association, supported by the Air France Foundation since 2006, supports humanitarian projects and assistance and charity initiatives in education and training for 80 pupils at the Winnie Ngewakazi school in the township of Soweto. The activities carried out aim to limit the consequences of HIV/AIDS in young people’s daily lives and combat poverty. The pupils are seen every day after they leave school. The aim is to create the conditions to help these young people become independent adults and fully-fledged members of society. Through numerous educational and social entrepreneurship activities, the association is closely engaged with local communities.
