Aviation Sans Frontières

Saving the lives of children suffering from heart disease.

Since 1980, Aviation Sans Frontières has been putting the resources and skills of the aviation world at the service of humanitarian aid, with missions carried out thanks to the mobilisation of the airline network, operations carried out on its own aircraft or actions carried out in collaboration with French flying clubs. Thanks to the support of the Air France Foundation, and in partnership with a number of NGOs, children suffering from serious cardiac pathologies can be accompanied to European hospitals for treatment or surgery which is always urgent and impossible to carry out in their own countries. These children, aged between 3 months and 18 years, receive treatment and are brought back to their families cured. Funding for this project will help 62 children to recover. The Air France Foundation is a long-standing partner of ASF, which provides financial support to the NGO, most of whose volunteers are active or retired Air France employees.
