Raising awareness of children's rights and preventing violence in schools in Aulnay-sous-Bois.

The association is developing a global approach to act on the causes and effects of sexual violence committed against children and teenagers. In France, a child dies every 5 days as a result of ill-treatment by their parents. A child is raped or sexually assaulted every 3 minutes. Furthermore, every second, at least 2 paedocriminal contents are shared online. The support of the Air France Foundation means that we can continue to set up educational activities to raise awareness of children's rights and the fight against the violence they suffer, particularly online. Students learn about their rights, identify high-risk situations and develop ways of protecting themselves: identifying resource people and help systems, being vigilant in their digital practices and thinking about how to break the cycle of violence. The small-group approach encourages participants to speak out and helps educators to spot warning signs.
