Renovation of a library and provision of Braille books for visually impaired young people.
This centre for young blind people, called "Accueil Notre Dame de la Paix", looks after the day-to-day life and education of young children who are seriously ill, blind, partially sighted and albino. The aim of the project is to help integrate these vulnerable young people into mainstream education. This requires support and guidance, hence the need to renovate the Braille library for the young beneficiaries and their guides. As a result, the aim of the project is to provide the centre with a rich and varied library of Braille textbooks for all the subjects taught and course materials. The first partnership with the Air France Foundation took place in 2016. Its founder Paul Tezanou is President of the Union Francophone des Aveugles.
