The Intyatyambo centre in the largest township of Cape Town caters to around 100 children before they enter the South African education system at the age of 6. The centre provides day care, an educational environment and three daily meals. The Air France Foundation has supported the centre since 2014 to enable it to provide education, fit out playgrounds, purchase school equipment, nursery equipment and a television for playing DVDs in English, the country’s official language. Compliance work has also been carried out to offer the children a high-quality environment.
