Care for street kids in Saint-Louis and support for under-age girls.

The association welcomes, protects, supports and trains street kids and young people, under-age girls and their babies. In Saint-Louis, many children are exposed to precarious situations. Victims of exploitation through begging, abuse and ill-treatment, forced to work at an early age, these children end up on the streets. La Liane would like to continue its street outreach work, an initiative supported by the Air France Foundation since 2013. The current project involves reception, accommodation, medical follow-up, education for young people at risk and family reintegration where possible. There are also plans to receive and monitor children with disabilities and pregnant teenagers, as well as providing them with medical care and support for their babies.
