Rehabilitation of a day care centre for disabled children in Budapest.

The project involves running a day-care centre for children with severe disabilities, providing them with often complex care and specialized education. 10 children receive care between 8am and 5pm. The association hopes to expand and open a second centre for new children whose families are unable to care for them because of their multiple disabilities. Living conditions at home are too difficult. In Hungary, the day care and residential care system suffers from major deficiencies. By financing the renovation of the second centre, the Air France Foundation aims to make up for the insufficient care provided to children who are left to their own devices. The aim is also to relieve families of the burden of dealing with these severe disabilities. In addition, the association benefits from strong support from the local Air France delegation, notably through the organization of solidarity days with company staff, to help improve the quality of care provided to the beneficiaries.
