Promoting the inclusion of Ukrainian refugee students through sport.
PLAY International uses sport as a means to promote education and inclusion. The NGO trains education professionals in the use of its sports content. The project is being rolled out for the second year in Warsaw and Wroclaw in Poland, and in Suceava in Romania to promote the inclusion of Ukrainian refugee students through sport in schools and sports clubs. Over the next year, teachers and coaches will continue to receive training in sports games and support in implementing these activities in the classroom with children. Sporting events are organized with schools, families and refugee children to foster exchange and integration with the local population. The aim is to facilitate the integration of 1,000 children, improve the training offer for 120 teachers and coaches in the practice of physical activity in schools, encourage teachers to develop their skills and raise awareness around the role of sport as a lever for integration.
