  • A combined ticket offer comprising an Air France flight and a CFF/SBB train ticket to/from 6 Swiss cities

In 2021, Air France launched Air France Smart Connect, a combined booking platform developed by Dohop, enabling its customers to book an Air France flight and a Transavia flight in a single transaction. Customers using this platform are covered by the Dohop guarantee, providing assistance and an alternative travel solution in case of an irregularity.

The company is now extending this service by offering customers the possibility to use this platform to combine an Air France-operated flight with a train ticket to or from 6 Swiss cities, served by Switzerland’s national railway company CFF/SBB.

The booking process is simple and practical. Customers can access this offer directly from the Air France website where they enter their point of departure, destination and travel dates. They are then redirected to the Air France Smart Connect platform, where they select their flight and train. In exchange for a single payment, they receive both their air ticket and train ticket.

Tickets are already on sale for the following routes on the airfrance.fr website -

Air France plans to gradually extend its offer by adding further stations in Switzerland and offering this service to customers connecting from another flight at Paris-Charles de Gaulle.

This new service is in addition to the train + air service available in France and Belgium as part of the partnership spanning more than 20 years between Air France and SNCF. 41 routes are currently available to and from Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly.
