For more than thirty years, the Air France Foundation has been working alongside non-profit organizations to improve the living conditions of disadvantaged children and young people around the world. The Foundation supports projects focused on education, social and professional inclusion, and raising awareness about environmental issues.
Today, the Foundation is unveiling its roadmap for the coming year.
An ambitious, inclusive, and forward-looking program
The Air France Foundation is pursuing its commitments by supporting 35 projects across more than 20 countries. Each initiative addresses concrete needs, led by local organizations with deep knowledge of the situation on the ground. For the 2025–2026 program, six new initiatives have joined the Foundation’s portfolio, four of which are carried out in collaboration with new partners. Together with the Foundation, each is developing impactful and sustainable projects such as:
Training young employees with disabilities at Café Joyeux in New York, in partnership with Source de Joie.
Supporting education and youth integration in Madagascar with Génération Mada
Promoting art and culture as tools for education and inclusion for young people in Juazeiro do Norte, Brazil, with Fonds Metis.
Building a new dormitory for young girls at the Les Paulins orphanage with Graine de Joie, in Madagascar.
In total, more than 83,000 children and young people will benefit from this new program, with initiatives deployed across the world — in Africa, the Americas, the Caribbean, Asia, Europe, mainland France, and French overseas territories.
The projects cover a wide range of themes including access to education, pathways to employment, protection for children, environmental preservation, and the promotion of sustainable development.
These new initiatives reflect the Air France Foundation’s ongoing commitment to fostering a collective chain of solidarity, uniting employees, organizations, and beneficiaries around a shared goal: opening new horizons for vulnerable youth.
