From 5 to 14 September 2025, Air France will be the official partner of the 51st Deauville American Film Festival. This annual event for film lovers celebrates the diversity of American cinema, from major Hollywood blockbusters to independent productions.

The company is supporting this world-renowned festival for the 12th year running and promotes American cinema all year round on board its long-haul aircraft.

Air France loves cinema

Air France has always cultivated strong ties with cinema, a source of dreams, just like air travel. Throughout its history, Air France has transported film crews, assisted with productions, and of course continues to screen a vast selection of films during the flight.

Ever since the first movie shown – An American in Paris – on board a Constellation flying from New York to Paris in 1951, cinema has been part of Air France’s DNA, and is now a key part of the travel experience.

In all its long-haul cabins, Air France promotes cinema all year round on its 38,000 high-definition, individual screens. The company offers 1,500 hours of in-flight entertainment including a wide selection of French and American films and titles that have won awards at various international festivals. Its vast offer of carefully selected films are screened in their original version.

The entertainment offer also includes series, podcasts and content adapted for young travellers, as well as the tastes and cultures of all its customers.

An exceptional dinner at Ciro’s Deauville in partnership with Groupe Barrière

For the first time this year, Air France is joining forces with Groupe Barrière to host a special event in connection with the Festival. Together, the two partners will co-host an exclusive dinner attended by members of the jury, among others. The dinner will be held at Ciro’s, the iconic restaurant on Deauville’s famous boardwalk, during the festival’s opening weekend. Guests will be able to enjoy the gourmet creations of Nina Métayer, World Pastry Chef 2023, who also designs the desserts served in Air France’s long-haul Business cabins on departure from Paris.
