In collaboration with its subsidiary SODESI (Company for the Development of Employment in Services and Industry), Air France supports local initiatives with a strong social and environmental impact, actively contributing to the economic revitalization of communities.

As part of its social responsibility commitments, Air France promotes employment development and professional integration. Through SODESI, its subsidiary dedicated to supporting access to employment, the airline implements revitalization agreements in close partnership with local authorities.

ARES association: Helping migrants and refugees access sustainable employment

The goal of this program is to enable 330 people from migrant and refugee backgrounds to access employment through language training and personalized support, in the areas around Roissy-Charles de Gaulle and Orly airports.

"Since 2023, Air France has been supporting our assistance programs for the most vulnerable populations. This valuable help enables us to guide more beneficiaries towards lasting employment."
    — Sophie Millet, Director of Professional Integration Programs, ARES+

Cinécubateur: Uncovering talents from local neighborhoods in the film industry

This program offers young talents from priority urban areas professional scriptwriting training and guidance in producing their first films.

"Without the involvement and support of Air France and SODESI, the Cinécubateur adventure would never have come to life. Since early 2025, 16 talents have been trained, and 6 debut films have been produced."
    — Thibault Abraham, Head of Training, Cinécubateur

La Boulangerie Rouget: Creating over 60 jobs in the Val-d’Oise department

With the support of SODESI, this artisanal bakery business was able to open a third outlet and plan for over 60 new hires in production and sales.

"This grant was crucial to the success of our project. It allowed us to strengthen our teams, invest in modern equipment, and start our activity in the best possible conditions."
    — Jacques-Edouard Duffour, Manager, Boulangerie Rouget

Air France-KLM's strong contribution to socio-economic impact

Beyond this obligation, these initiatives reflect the broader ambition of the Air France-KLM Group to foster professional integration, skills relocation, and local economic development.

The Air France-KLM Group accounts for 1.9% of French GDP, supports more than 550,000 direct and indirect jobs in France, and is a major economic driver in the Île-de-France region, where it contributes 3.2% of regional GDP.

Each supported project reflects the Group’s commitment to making its presence in the territory a lever for meaningful transformation, working hand in hand with local authorities, economic stakeholders, and support organizations.
