The Brain Institute deals with neurological and psychiatric pathologies that arise in childhood and adolescence. When we speak of "brain diseases", the ones most often cited are Parkinson's and Alzheimer's diseases. However, eleven of the pathologies studied at the Institut du Cerveau have their main onset in childhood or adolescence.
