AN INVITATION FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY TO TRAVEL
Whether they're travelling alone or accompanied by their parents, children are at the heart of Air France's caring attitude at all times during their trip. While they can't wait for the summer holidays to start, the company has come up with a Pre-Flight Advent Calendar, a brand new creative experience for parents and kids to prepare their next trip together and discover all the services Air France offers for Kids.
MUM, DAD, WHEN ARE WE LEAVING?
In this way, the first families to travel on long-haul flights departing from France during the first week of July will all be sent a Pre-Flight Advent Calendar*. Presented in the form of a small suitcase, the calendar will consist of 7 boxes each representing a destination and corresponding to the 7 days preceding their trip.
Fun and educational, the suitcase will take kids around the world with its design which was entrusted to the famous illustrator Al Murphy. Every day leading up to their flight, they can open a new box to discover a surprise and meet 7 famous animals from different parts of their world: Tom the caribou in North America, Lola the crocodile in South America, George the penguin in Antarctica, Raoul the koala in Australia, Charlotte the elephant in Asia, Robert the lion in Africa and Louis the rooster in Europe.
Inside each box will be a piece of a small wooden plane they can put together and a card illustrating some of the many Air France services dedicated to children, such as priority boarding, special kids' menus, inflight entertainment and even a tag for their favourite teddy.
A DIGITAL CALENDAR FOR ALL
For families who are leaving on flights later in the summer, Air France has also designed a digital version of the Pre-Flight Advent Calendar, which you can discover on avant-vol.airfrance.fr!
Available for everyone as from 1st June, this version designed for the whole family will offer children a series of 7 cartoons. In each episode, the flight will stop in a different part of the world to board one of the 7 famous animals as if it were a child enjoying the Air France Kids inflight experience. Parents will find daily tips to help their budding globe-trotters prepare their journey - like learning a few words in the language of the country - as well as content explaining all the various Kids services.
With more than 1,5 million children flying on Air France flights every year, the Pre-Flight Advent Calendar, designed by BETC, will accompany the entire family this summer to prepare them for their next trip.
