Open the Clood-Door Foundation

Role of the association

To enable the "Fellegvár Daycare" social centre to offer daycare services to children with disabilities and provide them with adapted programmes. The aim of the daycare centre run by this association is to provide therapy for children with multiple disabilities and to bring their families together.

Project description

In Hungary, the day care and residential care system suffers from major deficiencies.
The project is to continue the daily care of 10 children with severe disabilities, providing them with complex care and specialised education.

Other children are awaiting treatment. The association also wants to open a second centre, which will operate both as a day-care centre and as a permanent home for severely multi-disabled children. Many parents are unable to support their children.

The Air France Foundation's budget will be used to renovate a building near the 1st reception centre, so that the new facility can open as soon as possible.
The aim of this project is to make up for the lack of care given to children who are otherwise abandoned, and to relieve families of the burden of caring for these severe disabilities.

The association benefits from strong support from the Air France delegation in Budapest, in particular through the organisation of solidarity days with Air France employees.
