This summer, Air France is redefining its La Première lounge experience at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, offering customers even greater privacy and comfort. Designed to blend seamlessly with the exclusive private airport experience reserved for La Première guests, along with the new onboard suites, this elegant new space marks another milestone in the airline’s continued elevation of its premium offering.

Located in Terminal 2E at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the Air France La Première lounge embodies the promise of an exclusive experience by offering guests the highest expression of travel upon arrival at the airport. With fine dining options, as well as dedicated areas for rest, wellness treatments, and work, each element is designed to turn every moment into a privileged experience.

Redesigned by Air France teams in collaboration with MARKS Brandimage, this space spanning over 1,000 m2 has been conceived to offer greater privacy and comfort for each guest. This space expands on the new La Première airport experience launched in summer 2024, as well as the latest onboard suites introduced on select Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Integrating generous, enveloping spaces, warm materials, and carefully crafted lighting, every detail combines to create an intimate and refined atmosphere.

The La Première lounge, the promise of an exceptional experience

As a welcome gesture to mark the start of the journey, the airline’s signature home fragrance reveals its subtle scent at the entrance to the lounge. Named AF001, this home fragrance was created by Francis Kurkdjian, French master perfumer and artistic director of Maison Francis Kurkdjian.

At the heart of the lounge, the dining area, redesigned with more tables, strikes a balance between a refined dining room and a private setting. This warmer and brighter space offers a full table-service dining experience for every guest. Awarded Skytrax’s first prize for the best first-class lounge dining experience in 2025, it celebrates the best of French haute cuisine through a menu designed by Alain Ducasse and his teams. Guests can enjoy the chef’s famous coquillettes with ham and black truffle, tasty seasonal vegetarian dishes, as well as the iconic rum or Armagnac baba, made famous in Monte Carlo. These dishes are paired with a wine and champagne list curated by Xavier Thuizat, Air France’s head sommelier, as well as a choice of grands crus specially selected by Alain Ducasse’s teams.

The spacious lounge area now embraces a warmer, more intimate atmosphere. Fully redesigned, the furniture combines comfort and elegance, including the iconic Ribbon armchair from French designer Pierre Paulin. Generous armchairs, cozy sofas, alcoves, and partitions structure the space, creating individual cocoons of privacy in a refined setting. The airline’s identity is also reflected through a curated selection of images showcasing its heritage.

The lounge also features a more spacious Sisley spa, a pioneering French brand in phyto-cosmetology. To further enhance the wellness experience, a second treatment room has been added. Before a daytime or overnight flight, or between two flights, the La Première Sisley spa provides guests with all the expertise of the Sisley brand, with a range of treatments tailored to the amount of time they have in the lounge.

The relaxation area has also been fully redesigned as a true haven of calm within the lounge. New individual rooms equipped with day beds, duvets, and soft pillows invite guests to take time out and unwind in a sanctuary-like setting. A new work area, including a private booth for calls and private conversations, completes the range of services.

Every six months, Air France exhibits a new major artwork by a renowned artist in the La Première lounge. To mark the lounge’s reopening, guests can now discover a Wonder Block by French artist Jean-Michel Othoniel. The artist has created an original artwork in a palette of amber and Indian pink. This architectural and precious monolithic creation evokes a wall, a pillar, or a totem, combining monumental presence with delicate refinement.

    Private suites adjoining the lounge

For complete privacy before their flight or between two flights, La Première guests have the option to reserve exclusive 45 m² suites, located adjacent to the lounge. First introduced in summer 2024, three suites are now available, two of which can be adjoined upon request.

Each suite features a spacious living room, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, and a comfortable outdoor patio. Works of art are also displayed throughout. Upon arrival, guests are welcomed with a champagne and caviar offering by Sturia. Conceived as true private cocoons, these suites also allow guests to dine in complete privacy, enjoying the menu created for the La Première lounge by Alain Ducasse and his teams.
