Educational support for 36 underprivileged children (South region)

The Mai Nha Children association provides high-quality, long-term support for 20 orphans and abandoned children and for around 600 other underprivileged children in the village of Thien Nghiep. At the start of 2012, it obtained permits to construct an orphanage, a nursery school and to provide at least 80 school bursaries every year to children from the village. The Air France Foundation is this year supporting care for 16 children at the orphanage. They grow up in Mai Nha until they become independent. Housed in two residences located on the same land and designed as family homes, Mai Nha offers these children a chance to have a genuine and stable social and affectionate life that enables them to look ahead to the future more positively. The funding of a bursary programme for 20 children from the village is also under way. Mai Nha supports these children throughout their education, including primary, middle and secondary school and higher education. The Air France Foundation has supported Mai Nha Children since 2014.
