Training in digital technology for disadvantaged young people in Vietnam.
The association Passerelles Numériques is on a mission to eradicate poverty in a sustainable way by enabling young beneficiaries to improve their chances of finding work through access to quality education and vocational training in IT (Information Technology). The project sponsored by the Air France Foundation aims to provide young people from poor neighbourhoods in the town of Da Nang with a diploma-based technical and vocational training course in digital technology. It combines learning advanced IT technical skills, soft skills, English language training, internships and entrepreneurship modules. The aim is to prepare these young people to become independent, autonomous and responsible adults through educational activities and social support. With the support of the Air France Foundation, the ultimate goal is to guide them towards employment and professional development, and to strengthen the capacities of local and operational teams.
