Raising awareness of environmental protection in schools in the Natitingou region.
Recognised as a public utility organization, this NGO has set itself three missions: to preserve endangered forests and biodiversity, to promote local community development, and to raise awareness of environmental protection among young people and their families. By reinforcing the knowledge of educators to enable them to take action in their schools, accompanying children and optimising their understanding of environmental issues. UNESCO believes that schools can play a key role in helping African communities not only to mitigate the impact of climate change, but also to adapt to it when it becomes unavoidable. After two years of deployment, the 2023/2024 programme will focus on consolidating activities in 18 partner schools. This is the 3rd year that the Foundation has supported this project in order to ensure its long-term future.
