From 23 to 28 April 2026, Air France is the official partner of the ninth season of CANNESERIES. To mark the occasion, the airline presented the Air France Travelers’ Choice Award for the first time this evening to The Corsican Line, recognizing this CANAL+ Original Creation series as the most popular programme on board its flights.

On 24 April 2026, the champagne-coloured trophy – inspired by an airplane window, an iconic symbol of the world of travel – was awarded to The Corsican Line, a CANAL+ Original Creation series. After climbing the steps of the famous pink carpet, Fabien Pelous, EVP Customer at Air France, presented this top prize to the series’ director, Pierre Leccia, on stage at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes.

Premiered at CANNESERIES in 2025, The Corsican Line was the most popular series on board Air France flights. In an original and unprecedented approach, the winner was chosen based on usage data recorded on board, including audience figures, number of views and time spent watching the programme. With no voting or jury involved, this award reflects solely the actual choices made by Air France passengers over the six months the series was shown on the airline’s 38,000 screens, providing a true reflection of the series’ success.

By launching this new award, Air France is reaffirming its commitment to the world of TV series and its role in promoting French and international cultural content around the world. The Air France Travelers’ Choice Award is intended to be presented regularly at major arts festivals with which the airline partners. Following CANNESERIES, it will be presented this year at the Deauville American Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival, recognizing series that have been previewed at previous editions of these major cultural events, prior to being shown on Air France flights.

Air France, official partner of CANNESERIES

For the ninth year running, Air France is partnering with CANNESERIES, an international Festival dedicated to TV series that has become a major event on the audiovisual scene. From 23 to 28 April 2026, at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, the airline will welcome festival-goers to its stand. From 22 to 29 April 2026, a competition will give visitors the chance to win two return Business Class tickets to Los Angeles!

It will also be an opportunity to discover the in-flight screens and their state-of-the-art graphical interface, allowing passengers to explore the full range of programmes on offer. Visitors will be able to browse a selection of content, including the best series from Air France’s partners CANAL+ and Apple TV, as well as the interface for its free ultra-high-speed Wi-Fi service, which is being rolled out across its entire fleet.

Over 1,500 hours of in-flight entertainment

On all long-haul flights, each passenger has access to a high-definition screen offering over 1,500 hours of on-demand entertainment. In the most recent cabins, the anti-glare screen, offering 4K quality, is equipped with a Bluetooth connection for connecting personal headphones or earphones. In addition, the company is gradually rolling out a new touchscreen interface across its 38,000 screens, available in 12 languages and offering increasingly intuitive access to all programmes.

Air France’s carefully selected entertainment offer caters to diverse tastes and cultures, and is available in the original version or dubbed into multiple languages. The airline dedicates 30% of its entertainment offer to French productions, showcasing French cinema through a selection of films and series.

In total, more than 310 films of all genres, from the most classic to the most recent, are on offer. Air France’s entertainment offer is further enhanced through exclusive partnerships (CANAL+, Apple TV), providing a wide selection of series, reports, documentaries, music, podcasts, destination guides and children’s programmes. There’s also a section dedicated to well-being, where young and old alike can try their hand at meditation or chair yoga during their trip. Finally, an interactive map and an on-board camera allow users to follow the flight path and watch the take-off and landing from their seat.
