As the official supplier of the Paris bid for the 2024 Olympic Games, Air France has chartered one of its Boeing 777-300s in the colours of the Olympic bid to fly the Paris 2024 delegation between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Lima. It was in the Peruvian capital that the IOC officially named Paris as the host city of the 2024 Olympic Games. On September 15, 2017, a special welcome by Air France and Paris Aéroport staff is being reserved for the entire winning delegation! The event can be followed on the @Afnewsroom Twitter account as from 10am. As the official supplier of this Olympic bid, Air France has stepped up its support efforts for Paris 2024. Ten Air France aircraft, including one Airbus A380, two Boeing 777s and seven Airbus A320s have flown across the world sporting the colours of Paris 2024. Since the Olympic Day organized in Paris on June 24 and 25, the historic Invalides terminal has been sporting the colours of Paris 2024. Finally, throughout the summer, Air France invited its customers and staff to take part in sporting challenges in support of the city's bid.
