Table service, a new top-of-the-range service worthy of the finest restaurant

Launched on June 6th 2016, the Paris-Orly - New York-JFK flight also offers a new dining experience in the Business cabin: table service.

In the same way as in a top restaurant, each Business customer can order their hot dish from Air France cabin crew, who immediately plate up the dish thanks to their special training to highlight the dishes. These dishes, worthy of great restaurants, are directly presented on the tablecloth arranged on the table, instead of on a tray.

In addition, on shorter long-haul flights such as New York, each Business customer wishing to enjoy breakfast, can order it on request up to 1 hour 15 minutes before landing. For passengers who prefer to spend more time resting, a last-minute offer of hot drinks and pastries is available up to 30 minutes before landing. On board very long-haul flights, customers can enjoy an enhanced à la carte offer between two meals, with cold, hot, savoury and sweet snacks served in their seat.

Already offered on very long flights to Singapore1 and Tokyo-Haneda2, as well as New York-JFK3 from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, this new table service will be offered as from June 1st to Tokyo-Narita.

To offer this new style of service to its Business customers, 1,900 Air France flight attendants received special training, with a two-day introduction to catering expertise in partnership with the Paul Bocuse Institute, a reference in terms of excellence and French-style service.
