Senior engineering technician

The senior engineering technician assists production teams in their daily maintenance operations and plays an active role in maintaining airworthiness and flight safety.

In a highly competitive and regulated aeronautical environment, he/she is involved in finding technical solutions and optimizing work procedures. His/her environment is characterized by strong expertise, cross-functional relations internally with production and technical functions, and externally with aircraft and equipment manufacturers.

The senior engineering technician:

• Contributes to the development of maintenance policy. Ensures compliance of operations with current regulations.
• Provides technical support to production teams and ensures compliance with regulations. May be called upon to intervene on all operational activities: engines, equipment, aircraft, structure, etc.
• Exploits and updates the technical documentation required for production operations. Follows up work and provides feedback. May propose modifications to aircraft parts or systems.
• Carries out these activities in compliance with deadlines and costs.
