Services for young travellers

Committed to the well-being of the families who travel on its routes, Air France carries nearly 2 million children every year. During the journey, the company makes sure young travellers enjoy themselves.

On long-haul flights from Paris, Air France provides children with special meals made exclusively from organically grown products. Adapted to the tastes of the youngest children, the meals are designed to be balanced, fun and easy to eat. The children's menu is automatically offered to children ages two through six. For children older than six, parents can book the menu free of charge up to 24 hours before departure. For all infants up to the age of two, Air France also offers a tray with sweet and savoury baby food and a fruit purée, also organically produced, for a healthy menu that meets the nutritional needs of young children.

Play and Creativity Across the Journey

In all Air France long-haul cabins, flight attendants provide children with a box of games to play, tell stories and unleash their creativity as they travel to new places or return home. All young travellers are provided with the box when their meal is served. Families travelling with a baby (0-2 years old) also receive an attractive kraft paper box containing a cuddly toy made from recyclable, soft and reusable materials. In La Première, Business and Premium Economy cabins, this kit also comes with an attractive Air France-themed pouch and a spring water product.

Creating a Magical Travel Experience

During the trip, children enjoy dedicated entertainment programmes, including music, cartoons, and an introduction to meditation. A range of 16 children's magazines can be downloaded from the Air France Play app.

Air France also welcomes unaccompanied children aged 4 to 17 on board its aircraft. With the Kids Solo service, Air France staff accompany them and make sure they stay safe. Thanks to the Air France app, parents can follow every step of their journey, from pick-up at the airport to landing and arrival at their destination.
