Support for Mayotte: Helping together

Cyclone Chido, the strongest for over 90 years, hit Mayotte with devastating intensity. Against this dramatic backdrop, a veritable chain of solidarity was created within Air France and beyond.

A total of €56,000 in donations was received and matched by Air France, bringing the total amount contributed to €120,000. In addition, 23 million miles were collected.

Thanks to the generosity of active and retired Air France staff, subsidiaries (Transavia, Groupe BlueLink, SERVAIR) and via donations of miles offered by our customers, this surge of solidarity made it possible to provide immediate support to the disaster-stricken population.

The financial donations went to: CARE France, to meet emergency needs and provide long-term support for reconstruction.

Apprentis d'Auteuil Mayotte, to protect and support children, young people and families in Mayotte in their 20 local centres.

Miles were donated to: THE FRENCH RED CROSS, to support emergency relief efforts.

The needs are immense: protection, safety, psychological support, reconstruction... Together, we can make a difference.
