Taking dining to new heights

As an ambassador of French gastronomy and savoir-faire throughout the world, Air France has always endeavoured to offer all its customers a high-quality culinary experience at every moment of their journey. The meal on board Air France flights is a highlight of the trip and always synonymous with pleasure. The company offers its customers a variety of gourmet menus, thanks in particular to the expertise of its partner Servair, the world leader in airline catering, and its Culinary Studio.

On long-haul flights from Paris and certain international airports, Air France works with talented chefs to take French haute cuisine to new heights in the La Première and Business cabins, bringing travellers unforgettable flavours as they ride through the sky. Each meal is served on tableware created especially for the company by premier  French companies. To enhance the dining experience, passengers also enjoy a list of wines and champagne curated by Paolo Basso, named world’s best sommelier in 2013.

In the Economy and Premium Economy long-haul cabins, champagne, wine and many other beverages are also offered to all customers. Air France offers all Economy passengers a complete “French-style” meal consisting of a starter, a hot main dish, cheese and dessert. In Premium Economy, the aperitif and menu recipes are developed exclusively for this travel cabin in a “bistronomic” spirit. In these two cabins, the dishes are systematically labelled Nutri-Score A or B on departure from Paris.

In its medium-haul network, Air France adapts its catering offer to both the flight time and the time of day. All Business cabin passengers enjoy a complete tray. Economy cabin guests are served sweet biscuits or sandwiches (including vegetarian options) depending on the departure time. A range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is also available.

Before flying or when awaiting a connecting flight, customers are treated to a range of bistro-style French cuisine in Air France airport lounges. In its  Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Paris-Orly lounges, Air France recently introduced a new range of haute cuisine created by renowned chefs.

More Responsible Catering
Air France is committed to offering 100% French meat, poultry, dairy products and eggs, as well as fish from sustainable fisheries, in all its travel cabins and Paris airport lounges. The company also serves a selection of fresh, local and seasonal products, and a vegetarian option is systematically available.
