Nearly 12,496 flight attendants accompany you on your journeys 365 days a year and 24 hours a day. 

As part of the Cabin Crew, you have extensive contact with our passengers and play a major role in attentive customer relations – a key factor in earning their loyalty and promoting the Air France brand. 

You will work on Air France’s Short-Haul, Medium-Haul or Long-Haul networks. 

Your availability, adaptability, interpersonal skills, flair for customer service and interest in teamwork are all key assets for the profession of flight attendant.

TO BE A FLIGHT ATTENDANT IN ALTERNATION

Prepare for the Professional Qualification Certificate for cabin crew with Air France and the CFA for airline professions (AFMAé). 

Assigned to the Paris bases: At Roissy Charles de Gaulle and Orly, alternating cabin crews carry out their mission on Air France’s Short-Haul, Medium-Haul or Long-Haul networks according to the Company’s needs.

Job description

The succession of work and rest periods may lead to work at nights and on weekends and public holidays, which requires an excellent physical condition.

Staff must be punctual and available throughout the assignment.

Flight attendants must wear a uniform.

The type of contract is a work-study contract (fixed-term contract).

The programme alternates periods of flight with crews and training at the CFA des Métiers de l'Aérien school for airline professions. Application conditions:

Have at least a baccalaureate certificate or a certificate of level IV studies for holders of foreign diplomas (for any information concerning this certificate, contact the CIEP). Be a national of an EU Member State.

Be fluent in English and hold a minimum of a B2 English language certificate dated within 24 months (original required). Equivalence with B2 level, according to the Common European Framework. Experience as a cabin crew member is not necessary and applicants do not require the CCA. Mandatory documents to be submitted in your individual profile on the Air France website https://recrutement.airfrance.com:

50-metre certificate - swimming, completed in less than 90 seconds with a lifeguard (with the time set)

At Roissy Charles de Gaulle and Orly, alternating cabin crews carry out their mission on Air France’s Short-Haul, Medium-Haul or Long-Haul networks according to the Company’s needs.

Having acquired extensive experience in customer relations around the world, you will have the possibility after 6 years of service to apply for the position of Cabin Manager and hold a managerial position. You will be able to manage a team of up to 6 people. Afterwards, you can either apply for a position as Cabin Crew Chief on a long-haul flight with an extended team of 8 to 13 cabin crew including 1 to 2 cabin crew chiefs, or you can put your skills at the service of the company by moving to a management position as a Cabin Crew Instructor as part of the In-Flight Services Division.

• Have the physical and mental fitness for the profession (it is your responsibility to keep up to date with your medical check-ups during your initial training)
