On December 12, 2025, Air France and all representative trade unions (ALTER, CFDT/UNPNC, CFE-CGC, CGT, FO/SNPNC, SNPL, SPAF, UNSA/UNSA PNC) signed a major new agreement on the prevention and management of all forms of workplace violence, including violence of a sexist or sexual nature.
Concluded for a five-year period (2026–2031), this agreement represents a new milestone in the prevention and action policy pursued jointly by the trade unions and the company. It builds on the 2020 agreement, while setting a new standard in terms of prevention, support, handling of reported situations, and assistance for those affected.
Stemming from a sustained and constructive social dialogue, the agreement reflects a shared ambition: to guarantee every employee a respectful, safe, and violence-free working environment, based on neutrality, confidentiality, transparency, and respect for due process.
A substantive agreement structured around concrete commitments
This new agreement is based on a comprehensive and practical approach, built around several key areas:
- Enhanced prevention and training, with mandatory e-learning for 100% of employees in the first quarter of 2026, complemented by an unprecedented investment in face-to-face training for all managers over the next three years.
- Continuation of a professional listening and support system, accessible 24/7, enabling every employee to seek information, speak freely, and receive appropriate guidance in a neutral setting.
- Simplified, standardized, and time-bound investigation procedures, ensuring impartial handling, confidentiality of exchanges, and respect for the rights of all parties involved.
- Strengthened individualized support, including the possibility of psychological, social, and medical assistance, as well as information on available procedures.
- Consolidated governance, with the creation of a dedicated service for the prevention and management of workplace violence, a joint monitoring committee, shared indicators, and reinforced oversight of the agreement’s implementation.
These commitments are supported by new human and organizational resources, a clear rollout schedule, and a continuous improvement approach, all designed to ensure the effectiveness of the measures and employee confidence.
A collective and enduring commitment
Through this agreement, Air France reaffirms that the prevention and management of workplace violence is a collective responsibility, engaging all stakeholders within the company—management, HR, prevention teams, employee representatives—at every level of the organization.
This agreement embodies a strong conviction: safety, respect, and dignity in the workplace are essential conditions for sustainable performance and collective well-being.
