From 13 to 24 May 2025, Air France is official partner of the 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. To mark the occasion, the airline is re-opening its private beach on the Croisette, this year celebrating its new La Première travel experience, unveiled in the spring. In a new chic and elegant setting, the Air France beach, accessible for the duration of the festival, features a restaurant, an outdoor lounge, a bar and sunbeds with direct access to the sea. At the heart of the beach, festivalgoers will also be able to take an exclusive look at a mock-up of the new La Première suite, on display in a custom-made showcase on the sand.

The place to be at the festival, the Air France beach is this year celebrating the new La Première travel experience, the epitome of elegance in air travel. Next to the Hôtel Martinez beach in Cannes, the Air France beach features an intimate restaurant with seating capacity for close to thirty guests, a comfortable outdoor lounge and a bar, showcasing the French art of dining that the company strives to offer customers throughout their trip, along with its curated La Première wine and champagne list. La Première, the highest expression of travel
Air France’s new La Première suite has five windows and a unique concept. Entirely modular, it consists of a seat and a chaise longue that converts into a real bed. The seat can be adapted to every moment of the flight, for take-off, landing, mealtimes or to relax. Featuring soft ergonomic seat foam, it adjusts to individual body shapes for optimum comfort. In front of the seat, a chaise longue allows you to rest in the position you prefer, the ideal way to stretch out your legs while sitting down to read or watch a film. And for a perfect night's sleep, the chaise longue simply unfolds to become a real bed, two metres long. The four suites available on board each feature a thick curtain for total privacy from floor to ceiling, providing a cozy atmosphere.
Each guest has two 32-inch 4K anti-glare screens, allowing them to enjoy entertainment programmes in optimum conditions from their seat, chaise longue or bed. Each is equipped with noise-reducing headphones and the option of pairing your own headphones or earphones to the screens via Bluetooth. 110V/220V, USB A and USB C power sockets, as well as induction charging slots and a smartphone or tablet holder, are also available so guests can use their own personal devices. The suite is intuitively controlled from a wireless touchscreen tablet. By touching the tablet screen, you can adjust the seat recline, chaise longue or bed, as well as the various lights and window blinds. It's also easy to navigate through all the functions on the two screens available.
With a private lobby and a dedicated airport lounge, fine dining created by triple Michelin-starred chefs at the airport and on board, a carefully selected wine and champagne list, a private suite on board and a peaceful night’s sleep at 35,000 feet, every moment of the La Première travel experience has been carefully thought out to make your trip an unforgettable one.
Air France loves cinema
As official partner of the Cannes Film Festival for 45 years, Air France has always cultivated strong ties with cinema, a source of dreams, just like air travel. Throughout its history, Air France has transported film crews, assisted with productions and of course continues to show films on board. Ever since its first movie shown – An American in Paris – on board a Constellation flying from New York to Paris in 1951, cinema has been part of Air France’s DNA and is now a key part of the travel experience. In all its long-haul cabins, Air France promotes cinema all year round on 38,000 individual screens. The company offers 1,500 hours of in-flight entertainment including a wide selection of French films and movies that have won awards at previous editions of the Cannes Film Festival. Its carefully selected vast offer of films is enhanced by feature films broadcast in their original version. The entertainment offer also includes a selection of CANAL+ programmes, series, podcasts and content adapted for younger travellers. There is something for everyone to enjoy.
