The 32nd edition of the Aeronautical Training and Careers Fair (Salon des formations et métiers aéronautiques, SFMA) was in full swing from February 2 to 4, 2024 at the Air and Space Museum at Paris-Le Bourget Airport.

Over the course of these three intensive days, Air France was on hand to meet passionate young people whose enthusiasm for a career in aeronautics was palpable. In the end, nearly 3,000 attendees aged 14 to 25 visited the company's stand and had the opportunity to meet 40 Air France ambassadors who were on hand to share their passion, answer questions and highlight career opportunities.

Covering a wide range of profiles and professions (pilot, cabin crew, ground handling agent, aircraft mechanic, supply chain and logistics expert, etc.), employees took the time to show that there are opportunities at Air France for everyone, no matter their level of qualification or background. As a

company committed to professional and social integration for youth, Air France offers a wide range of opportunities for everyone, including student apprentices and recent graduates.

Valérie Gary, Employer Brand Manager at Air France, commented: "The Aeronautical Training and Careers Fair is an essential event for our company, which is committed to helping young people secure employment. For some, this type of encounter can be a life-defining moment when it comes to choosing a career path. What's certain is that aeronautical professions continue to inspire dreams and light up the eyes of future generations.

In 2024, Air France plans to pursue its recruitment plan. Forecasts include more than 1,000 open-ended contracts – notably for pilot, aircraft maintenance and IT & Data professions – as well as 1,100 work-study students. To find out about all the job offers, visit our careers website.
